Al Boushiya was first established in Kuwait City in 1979 by four pioneer sisters who were among the very first to bring high-end luxury fashion to the region in a multi-brand setting. The boutique specializes in evening and bridal wear and was steered by Abdul Rahman & Najwa Kaloti, who were among the very first retailers to introduce luxury fashion to the Gulf region.
The family frequently traveled to renowned fashion capitals such as New York and Florence to curate their collections of fashionable and trendy looks. This dedication to sourcing exceptional pieces established Al Boushiya as a premier destination for luxury fashion in the Arab world.
In 1993, Al Boushiya opened its first Abu Dhabi store. This expansion marked a significant milestone for the business, allowing it to reach a wider clientele in the United Arab Emirates. Today, Al Boushiya operates in both Abu Dhabi and Kuwait and is an entirely family-owned business steered by three generations of women.
